Training with Gladrock Gundogs – What to Expect
I want your training experience with Gladrock Gundogs to feel straightforward, positive, and stress-free. To keep things clear for everyone, here are a few important details about how bookings, payments, and training sessions work.
Booking Your Spot
- Your place is only confirmed once you’ve completed the booking form and paid for your session in full.
- Payments are nice and simple — bank transfer or PayPal only.
Cancellations
Life happens! If you need to cancel:
- More than 48 hours before → 50% of your session will be refunded.
- Less than 24 hours before → non-refundable.
- Missed or late sessions can’t be refunded.
During Training
- Sessions can take place at your home or at a neutral location we agree on together.
- Please make sure your dog is healthy and up to date with vaccinations. If your bitch is in season, just let me know so we can adjust plans.
- Dogs should stay on lead unless I say otherwise.
- Arrive on time so we can make the most of your session. If you’re late, that time is simply lost.
- Please don’t feed your dog within 2 hours before training — this helps avoid tummy upsets and keeps them comfortable.
Keeping It Positive and Safe
- Please be honest about your dog’s temperament and training level — there’s absolutely no judgment. It just helps me support you both properly.
- Harsh handling, e-collars, and prong collars aren’t part of my training approach and won’t be allowed.
- For safety, I can’t work with dogs that show aggression. If I believe a dog may be unsafe, I reserve the right to stop training.
- I always recommend personal pet insurance. While I take every precaution, Gladrock Gundogs can’t be held responsible for accidents or injuries during sessions.
- Likewise, I can’t take responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles at training locations, so please take sensible precautions.
