Residential
Our residential program is aimed at those who want a reliable and well-mannered dog but don't have the time or training knowledge to get there. In our residential training, we don't treat dogs like clients, we treat them like family. They will become part of our pack, go on group walks, train alongside our own dogs and join our picking up team on shoots (season only and on request) for the duration of their stay. Our clients will be staying in their own bespoke insulated kennel right next to our own dogs. We keep a maximum of 3 residential dogs at a time to allow for as much 121 time as possible.

Gundog Training
Gundog training isn’t just for working breeds, it’s an engaging and rewarding activity for any pet dog. It’s a fantastic way to enrich your dog’s life, providing them with an outlet and daily mental and physical stimulation that you can practice in your backyard or while out on woodland walks. To enrol in this course, your dog should already have a good foundation in obedience. If your dog is still working on the basics, we recommend starting with our Basic Obedience course before progressing to gundog training.
In this course, we will cover:
Shoot Over Days
Shoot over days are the perfect opportunity for you to test your gundog's skills on ground holding live game such as pheasant, grey partridge, woodcock, snipe and duck.
I deal with shoot over requests as a case by case and will always require seeing a valid UK firearm license in case you wish to shoot over your own dog. If you are interested and would like to know more, please get in touch via email.
Please note shoot over days are only available during shooting season between October 1st and February 1st for a limited number of dogs.
Suitable for HPRs, Retrievers and Spaniels

Basic Obedience
Every great partnership starts with the basics. Establishing solid obedience is the foundation for a well-mannered, confident dog and is the first step in any training journey. The earlier these skills are introduced, the easier life becomes—for both you and your dog—building a relationship based on trust and clear communication.
In this course, we will cover:
Puppy Training
Let’s give your puppy the best start by teaching them the skills they’ll need for life! At this age, puppies require plenty of rest—often up to 16 hours a day—so training sessions are kept short and positive. Just as important as training is making time to bond, play, and enjoy these early months together. They grow quickly, and these moments are precious.

Coffee shop etiquette
I created this course after countless people stopped me during coffee shop visits to admire how calm and well-behaved my dogs are, often saying they could never imagine their own dog doing the same. I understand how stressful it can feel to bring your dog along: the worry that they won’t settle, the barking, the constant quest for attention, or the scavenging for every crumb of croissant on the floor.
I designed this course to help both you and your dog enjoy these moments together with confidence and ease. We will focus on:
Training Walks
Here at Gladrock Gundogs we understand your life can get busy and you can't always make time for your dog. But don't worry we got your back with our training walks tailored to your dog's every need.
