Meet the Team
Henry
Henry is my first Hungarian Wire-haired Vizsla and the reason I fell in love with this breed. He is the most loving, kind dog and wouldn’t hurt a fly. It was definitely a challenge getting him ready for work due to his sensitive nature but we got there working together at his own pace. He is my pride and joy.
Sophie
Sophie is my first lab and definitely not my last, I fell in love with the breed and how easy they are to train. She is simply the best girl and a joy to work with, she is always up for it. Sophie just wants to please but don’t be fooled by her good looks. She loves to take part in mischief!
Gladis
Gladis is my partner’s full time assistance dog making her our only non-gundog although she does enjoy the odd retrieve especially in water. She is like a water detector and will always be the first in no matter the time of year. Gladis is the eldest in our pack and the sweetest girl.
George
George is Henry’s twin brother although everyone thinks they aren’t related because of his shorter coat. George was instantly hooked to gundog training when he was a puppy. He is a keen hunter and once in the field, he is unstoppable.
Hagrid
Now almost 2, Hagrid is our third HWV who is not only growing up to be a fantastic working gundog but also a calm and gentle dog at home. You all remember him from my very first videos on my social media, he has come a long way and has been a joy to train.
Ronnie
Short for Ronald, Ronnie is our latest recruit and youngest dog, He is a 1-year-old Sprocker I rehomed from a friend. He may be shy but has plenty of drive and willingness to learn. Keep an eye out for him in the upcoming shooting season!
